• Because this build is mainly going to be used for storage we dont need extremely high end parts, I decided to get an intel celeron for the cpu, which should have plenty of power for what we are doing, it also has integrated graphics over a lower end AMD cpu so we dont have to sink extra cost into a low end graphics card. The celeron also comes with a stock cooler which is nice because we dont need super robust cooling.

• Great motherboard with 6 SATA port drives to offer expandability in the future without the requirement of splitters.

• It has a lot of room for upgrading in the future and the design allows you to put it on a rack to keep the area tidy and looking clean.

• these are specially made for servers so they have extra protection built in to make sure they dont fail and lose your data. We decided to get 4 of the 4TB Hardrives to get a total of 16TB of storage

• We will replace the stock fans that come with the case with really nice quiet fans, that will increase airflow keeping your hard drivers cooler improving longevity while lower the noise output of your server overall.

Powersupply: EVGA 450 W3, 80+ White 450W

•  We are using a very low wattage celeron cpu so we really dont need much in terms of power supply, I decided to grab the EVGA 450w 80 Plus rated power supply, it obviously isnt the highest end power supply in the world but EVGA is a great brand I trust to have good build quality and longevity in there power supplies.

This is our home / office prebuilt NAS server, if you are unfamiliar with what a NAS is its network attached storage, so in our offices we will be using it to store our bulky video files, product images, documents, and whatever else we want to keep or share.

What makes having a NAS really nice is when you have multiple people in the office working on similar files or documents together you no longer have to carry a flash drive with the new files over to each other to share your work, you can just upload it to the server and everyone has easy access to it!
